What makes XGEM unique?
- The wheel and brake housings feature a patented in-the-wheel-electric motor and regenerative brake assembly.
- The Ford and General Motors van’s gas engines, transmissions and drive trains are replaced with a rotary engine-generator controllers, capacitors and in-the- wheel motors.
- Two battery packs are installed within the I-Beam chassis of the Vans and underneath the floor-board. A second method is more advanced that does not use the battery packs.
- The accelerator pedal/controller sends electrical current to the wheels.
XGEM Hybrid Electric Vans are part of the decentralized infrastructure for the changeover to future Energy Policies.
